[DEPRECATED] Install Datafari 4.x CE on Debian/Ubuntu

Valid starting from v4.1 of Datafari !

Ensure that :

  • the required packages are installed via apt-get

  • Java 8 JRE (or JDK) is installed

  • Java Home variable is setted

  • Python is installed

  • the time and date of the server is uptodate

  • increase the default value of Open Files Limit

To install Datafari you need to be root :

dpkg -i datafari.deb

Start Datafari (needs non root account but must be in sudo group) :

cd /opt/datafari/bin bash start-datafari.sh
