Autocomplete displays a dropdown window below the main search bar. It suggests a list of search queries based on what the user is currently typing, more precisely by suggesting words that start with what the user is currently typing. It can also suggest queries from different suggesters, for instance for entity based recommandations (Authors in the screenshot below).
