The hardware requirements may vary locally based on specific customer scenarii. The requirements below are "standard" recommandations:

In any case, the tmp directory used by the OS and Datafari MUST be on the fastest available partition (SSD or equivalent). To change the tmp directory location in Datafari, follow this documentation:  Change tmp directory in Datafari

Case with a single machine:

  • Datafari server:

    • Opteron 4122 (4c/4t) 2.2 GHZ /

    • 32 GB RAM

    • 512 GB SSD (or equivalent)

    • 100 MB bandwidth

Case with a distributed system:

  • Datafari Main Server:

    • Opteron 4122 (4c/4t) 2.2 GHZ /

    • 16 GB RAM

    • 512 GB SSD (or equivalent)

  • Dedicated Crawling Connectors server:
