This section lists the parameters and configurations of Datafari that allow you to modify the size of the Datafari index (some modifications may have an impact on the search experience).
Set a size limit to the stored field
You can set a value for the limit of the number of characters stored in the index. This requires a full reindex of the data to be taken into account. For standard scenarios, this value can be equal to the number of analyzed characters for highlighting (Highlighting configuration). Using a low value can save disk space.
To set the size limitation, you have to be the search administrator. Go in the admin UI.
