To simplify the install procedure, when you install Datafari, you define a global admin password for will be declaring only one password that will be applied to both the Datafari webapp admin user, AND the apache proxy admin account, that gives you access to the Datafari web app and to the following apps: Apache Solr, monit, Glances, Apache Zeppelin. . Although they have the same name, they are technically NOT the same user.
If you want to later change the password for the Apache proxy (which will NOT change the password for the datafari webapp), please refer to section C of Change the Datafari passwords
If you want to later change the password for this account, you can modify it directly in the Admin UI of Datafari. Go to Admin → User Management → Manage Datafari Web Services Users.
